Comprehensive Community Support

Our Community Support Associates (CSAs) provide comprehensive community support services to help individuals increase their ability to live independently and access community resources while recovering from mental health or substance use disorders.

Our CSAs work closely with clients and their therapists to create a personalized treatment plan. We then provide skill-building, support, and behavior interventions as outlined in the treatment plan. We are not therapists, but rather trained support staff who assist clients in implementing what they are learning in therapy outside of therapy sessions.

Services Provided by Our Community Support Associates

• Help individuals increase their ability to live independently and access community resources

• Assist in implementing what clients learn in therapy sessions outside of therapy

• Work closely with clients and their therapists to create personalized treatment plans

• Provide skill-building, support, and behavior interventions as outlined in the treatment plan

• Share clients' successes with other members of their team

• Provide crisis management skills and teach emotion-regulation techniques

• Teach parenting skills

• Assist with developing or improving interpersonal skills

• Help clients manage activities of daily living such as medication routines and budgeting skills

• Advocate for and assist clients in accessing and effectively using community resources

• Possess knowledge and skills related to mental health and substance use disorders and their symptoms.

Our Comprehensive Community Support services are available to Medicaid recipients aged 4 and older who have a mental health or substance use disorder and require assistance with skill-building, crisis management, and other behavior interventions outside of therapy sessions.
